Product Owner – Sustainability, Tech 4 Good.

Join a Sustainability software business, on a mission to save energy before it’s even used! With massive growth plans, a super busy pipeline of work and some very exciting new products on their way, it’s time to find a Product Owner.
They are leaders in their field with a mission to stop business wasting energy. They have created software and hardware products using IoT, Big Data, and AI, which help global corporations cut down on wastage, change behaviour and reduce machine inefficiency. They have built an operation that now spans 37 countries, and have a genuinely massive pipeline of work ahead of them!

The product owner is a big role, and you will play a super important part in delivering their energy saving solutions. This is an end to end role, right from gaining a deep understanding of customers needs and problems, all the way to translating these needs into development requirements, creating a product roadmap, and delivering the product to market.
You’ll work really closely with the engineering teams who develop both hardware and software products, a cloud platform and web interface. You will be the person to bring all these pieces together to make sure they align on milestones and product launch plans! Along with this, you’ll be regularly speaking to the external customers, so you must be comfortable with both speaking to technical and non-technical people.
Experience you’ll need:
- 4+ years of product development experience.
- 1+ year of experience in a Product Management or Product Owner role.
- Experience within hardware as embedded software
- Experience of working in an agile environment.
- Strong background in software or services engineering.
- Exposure to data and business intelligence technologies, such as SaaS, dashboards, APIs, live eventing.
You can work remotely or pop to Bristol where they are opening a new office. There ins’t a requirement to come into the office regually for remote workers as they have a gloabl team but expect a meeting here once a quater.
