Junior Software Engineer
I’ve seen my fair share of fantastic business owners navigate tricky circumstances to stay alive (this year more than ever), but when one not just survives, but thrives – now that’s impressive.
Joining anywhere as a junior-mid level candidate you won’t always have a massive influence on the company direction. Which is fine, you’ve got lots to learn first, but you certainly want to have the right people in charge. As the new Embedded Software Engineer for this start-up, that’s exacly what you’ll have.
Their product was orignally aimed at keeping surfers safe. It was adapted to an entirely new industry that is crying out for safety innovation through connected devices – evidenced by the high interest this move resulted in. In 2020, new features were added to help aid in the pandemic crisis too.
That’s exactly what you’ll be doing – new feature development. You’ll learn form great minds, advance your way up the career ladder as they grow and make something that keeps people safe and saves lives.
A smaller company offers full exposure to SDLC, 2 days remote working, one-to-one training and development, a salary of up to £40,000 (DOE) + Benefits.
- 1 year of Embedded C programming (ideally bare metal)
- Microcontrollers (ARM preferred)
