Junior Developer (PHP/JavaScript)

SR2 are thrilled to once again be working with an incredible multi-award winning EdTech in Bath who recognise that it isn’t a case of one size fits all when it comes to education and that children learn in different ways. Through utilising algorithms they are able to gather the information they need to build a learning platform that can be tailored to each child individually, helping them flourish.

Covid has had a positive impact on this business, with their eLearning products becoming more and more popular during lockdown. They have been able to build a product that parents and children equally love to use, that has made learning subjects like English and Maths enjoyable!. This increasing popularity means that the organisation are growing and are looking for a Junior Full Stack Developer to join the team.

As a Junior Developer you will be joining a friendly, supportive team who are all not only really passionate about building products which help kids get the most out of online learning, but also that they love to use! You will be working on the maintenance of their existing product range but will also be supported in creating new features which improve the functionality of their apps using PHP, Laravel and Vue.JS.

Based in Bath with remote working options.

Experience:

  • 1 Years’ experience working as a full stack developer
  • Knowledge of PHP MVC frameworks
  • A willingness to learn
  • Good Communication skills
  • A passion for education is a bonus!
