I have a great opportunity for a fully remote Senior QA to join an amazing company. They are the world’s leading provider of services to the major film studios of Hollywood and broadcasters, and studios around the world, think the likes of Warner Bros and Disney. They’ve led the way in Hollywood for over 100 years and continue to be the industry leader in pioneering new formats, and supporting and developing new technologies and workflows in the fast-changing technical landscape of Cinema and streaming platforms.
We are working with them exclusively to build a brand new tech team in the UK following the acquisition of a Bristol based company. This new team will be 100% remote permanently (with zero travel to the office) and you’ll also have loads of flexibility with hours, with the opportunity to work normal hours or start late and work into the evening if you prefer. They currently have a UK tech team of 9 which they are rapidly scaling so it’s a great time to be joining, Their team work on anything from advanced, high end and responsive web applications to event driven microservice and also have a AWS hosted platform for the distribution of movies worldwide.
They are now recruiting for their first UK based permanent Senior QA . They do already have a established Test team over in the US and Ukraine so whilst you will be their first UK hire there is an established test team around you so you wont be on your own.. They are looking for someone who has the drive and desire to make things happen. They want someone experienced with building automation frameworks, they currently are approx. 50/50 with manual and automation but favour automation for new projects. They work with tools like Selenium and Protractor but are always interested in new tools to help them further improve their QA processes.
You’ll build and maintain automation frameworks, think outside the box and also conduct component and system integration test via APIs, DBs, hot folders and 3rd party libraries..
If someone has worked within cloud environments that would be ideal and they want someone super proactive who is able to research and review tools and libraries who can make recommendations to improve the overall productivity of the team.
Salary is anywhere from £40,000 up to £70,000 depending on experience.
