Remote with very occasional travel to Bath | Up To £80,000
Want to join a company that are putting security first? A company who want to build security into the entire software lifecycle? As a DevSecOps Engineer, I imagine that sounds pretty good to you.
This is a great opportunity join a multi award winning and forward thinking FinTech in central Bath. They have been disrupting the financial services industry, building solutions that are helping companies reinvent themselves and expand into new and exciting areas.
They have grown their Cloud and Development teams considerably over the past year, and are now looking for an experienced DevSecOps Engineer to drive forward improvements in their security function, integrating security by design into all their processes.
They are a sticker for modern tech so you’ll have plenty of fun toys to play with and the freedom to try things your own way. You’ll work closely with their DevOps Lead to own the security incident management process, ensure the production environments are secure, design their AWS infrastructure and encourage good practises across engineering, product and the wider business.
Ideally you will have:
- A background in cloud security
- Strong AWS security knowledge (The AWS security speciality certification would be a massive bonus)
- Experience with continuous integration and related tools
- Terraform, Ansible or similar
- A background in, or a good understanding of DevOps principles, including automation, CI/CD, containerisation, monitoring and alerting etc
Want to stand out from the crowd? Talk to me about your:
- AWS certifications
- ISO27001 certs or experience
- CISSP, CISM, CISA or similar
- Some knowledge of typescript and MongoDB
They have a positive, open environment that promotes fresh ideas and experimentation, so you shouldn’t be afraid to bring your experience to bear and challenge the established ways of thinking.
This is an excellent opportunity to really have a real measurable impact on the business, with the opportunity to get things right the first time, rather than fix someone else’s mess. You’ll be well looked after, with 25 days holiday, pension and life plans, and flexible working arrangements. You can be mostly remote, with one or two days a months in the office in the centre of beautiful Bath. The brioche is amazing, the beer is local and sun is always shining (I’ve been told).
Hit apply or give me a call on 0117 403 6372 for more information.
